A QUICK WAY (legal "cheat") to IMPROVE your WASTELAND RANGERS :

	First, take a quick look at your Rangers, their Skills and Weapons !
	Three of the Rangers already have BRAWLING skill, and TWO of them
	have Level 2 Brawling skills.  SWITCH ALL WEAPONS TO CROWBARS. This
	conserves Ammo until we get better weapons.

	All you really want now are a LOT OF PROMOTIONS to raise your Rangers'
	I.Q./Skill and Strength levels. Later raise their other weak attributes 
	to make them "better" rangers. 

    *** After about SIX minutes (and very little fighting) you'll have Four
	greatly improved Rangers -
				ST   IQ   MAX    
				--   --   ---    (most other Attributes will
		Hell Razor      16   24   54        be around a "16" level.) 
		Angela Deth     16   24   53
		Thrasher        17   24   60
		Snake Vargas    16   24   57

	You DON'T even have to go this far, you'll be taking much of the joy
	out of the game ! Only YOU can decide how far to go !

Go to QUARTZ: 
=============
	From Ranger Center, go West, then North along the river to Quartz.
	Enter Quartz in the North-east corner and follow the street South
	to the first intersection. There's two buildings with a short
	"dead-end" street in between them.

	(USE "Pistols" here if you prefer.)
	Enter the "dead-end" street, an alley beside the "outlaws hide-out".
	Kill the "marksmen" in the alley.  You may have to USE your MEDIC 
	skills and REST where the "snipers" DON'T "fire at you" !  Use a ROPE 
	in the South-west corner, REST to Full Health BEFORE going up to the 
	"roof", kill the "marksmen" and "outlaws" on the "roof".

        Just walk "back-and-forth" along the "skylight" to the East !  After
        about THREE MINUTES, "radio" for your "promotions" and repeat. Now,
	with your higher I.Q.'s, all of your Rangers' PERCEPTION skills will 
	increase to level "3".  Keep repeating until your Rangers reach the
	level you desire !

	There you have it, find a library and acquire any "basic" or "special"
skills your Rangers need. Probably better to get MEDIC skill for Hell Razor and
DOCTOR skill for Thrasher. 

	Wander around the "desert" and let the Heat injure a "recruit" ! Practice
your Medic & Doctor skills until you reach higher skill levels, later you'll be glad
you did !

	The tougher the ememy, the quicker and higher your fighting skill levels
will go !
