We tried to play the Bottom Lounge for over a year until we finally were offered a date. The show went off without a hitch and it was awesome, it is the premiere venue to play in Chicago. I guess the Metro might actually take that crown but its harder to get a gig and I doubt teh sound, lights or stage are that much better. I'll go with the Lounge personally because I have sour grapes the Metro throws away our CDs when we send them. So you could say I'm partial. Fuck off anyways, the Lounge rules!!
