This is a really fucking cool bunch of guys. They were kind enough to extend a great opportunity to us: to play at one of my now favorite venues (Big Wig) and to play with a band of their caliber. Much love to Matt who is down with the Jackson Guitars, and has the charasmatic way with the ladies, getting them to dance during their set.

Matt Blanks is the type of person that organizes shows and makes a 'scene' what the fuck it is. He has the balls to GUZZLE brews before his set, then he takes the stage and somehow still tears it up. I feel like he somehow got lessons from a master on how to play shows and handle band business. Shooting Blanks plays a shitload of shows in places that I wonder 'how the fuck do you get a gig there?'. It is an honor to play with them. I love this fucking band, they play pop but still throw shapes and keep it real on stage. They attract hot bitches and a huge draw to any show they play. They are REAL rock stars.

This band continues to impress me. They are some of the straightest people I know, I don't think they ever turn down a show. Matt drinks until he cannot even function, then plays with insane vigor. Total respect.
