Is life really what it seems
I'm always caught in between

Gotta move up, gotta get ahead
I like it much better there instead



I didn't give u any slack
So please don't ride upon my back

I always try to do my best
And stand out from all the rest


Of the people in society
What makes them think they're better than me

I'll keep to myself and be all alone
I know I can do it on my own



I feel so good today

Don't want this feeling to go away



Sometimes I just want to be lazy
But accomplishing nothing to me is crazy

I'll do it now no reason to wait
I try not to procrastinate

I open my mind to things that are new
Because I know theres better things to do

Than sit and watch my life fly by
I can always do better if I try



Take a look in the mirror what do u see
Someone with a lot of potential to be

A better person with something to give
So make your life more fun to live



Here is something I insist
Live each day to the fullest

And learn to take it easy
