It is an DXMG model, with EMG-HZ dual humbuckers. This guitar has a very gritty tone, which is very suited for hard rock music. I've brought it as a backup for #1 many times but only used it live once or twice. I like the guitar, I had pointed it out to Jessica in passing months before Christmas. Its also around $400 like the others.

I finally had enough with the garbage EMG-HZ's in this axe. EMG markets them as 'active pickups...that arent really active' or some such shit. I could no longer stand the sound of them without my beloved EMG-81. So I copped the EMG-ZWs -- the Zakk Wylde set which includes an 81 and an 85. I've still as of yet to play it live, but its a big improvement already. Here's a pic of the axe in mid-installation.....
