Splash/Bell

This is probably the weirdest concoction on my drum set. I have no idea why I would stack a Zil-Bel on top of my splash, I must have seen it in a video or something? Drummers are usually pretty opinionated when it comes to specialty cymbals. Some argue that they are only good for studio effects but get swallowed up by the larger cymbals in a live setting. I say those drummers dont know when to use their specialty cymbals. Still, I have tried playing without the splash/bell combo and I found myself looking for it the enitre time. I guess I'm hooked.
