I play piece of shit drums, fo sho. My kit is a Percussion Plus 5 piece (although I only use four) with all black finish with silver trim. I bought these in 1997 for a grand total of $431.00. Cause i thought i wanted to play the drums...turns out it was a great investment. Although the drums arent the finest quality in the land, i prefer that they don't sound that way. Needless to say the kit is in very good shape given the years of playing all over this great state and never using drum cases- just my trusty laundry basket. I use Remo ebony pinstripe heads for the toms, Evans Dual Coated Reverse Power Dot Battter Head for the top of the snare and Evans Single Coated Batter for the bottom. For the bass drum, i prefer Aquarian heads because of thier unique self-muffling system and durability. I dont keep anything in my bass drum execpt and old pair of long underwear (dont ask). I never muffle any of my drums, no pillows, no towels, no dust rags w/ electrical tape on my heads or any other bullshit like that.
