It originally had a normal white pick guard but I got it airbrushed. This guy that used to work at Siegling when I first started named Bill Bender came up to me and asked if I knew anyone who had a piece of shit guitar that he could airbrush just for practice to see how it came out and if the paint smeared or whatever. So I told him no and then later that night thought of taking the pick guard off and having him airbrush that. He said he could so I had him do it. Now its cool because the bass is kinda customed for me. The black Fender with the white pick guard is a hot selling item. Many people own black guitars with white pick guards. Well, now my pick guard is airbrushed blue, has Low Profile on it and my initials. Fucking props. I've been asked if its custom made. I tell them, no man, just customize it yourself. Change parts on your guitars so that no one else can have a guitar just like yours. The least u can do is sticker it up.
All in all this bass doesn't sound all to great. The action is very high. I need to take it in and have them adjust the neck and bridge. I'll do that one day too. Who knows when. I'm a professional procrastinator.
