I bought this right after I graduated high school I think. I used this bass for the last Socially Unacceptable show and Jamey Johnson played drums at that same show and he wasn't even officially in the band. We "borrowed" Matt Boyle's drums for that show and let Jamey use them. Funny thing was that Matt passed my house and saw us loading them out of my garage and called and I had my mom tell him I couldn't come to the phone. Later that night, he called and got a hold of me and I just straight up told him that we Jamey used his drums for a show. He was pretty pissed and picked his drums up the next day and Socially Unacceptable was over.
I've changed out the pickups on the Ibanez bass. Now there r EMG pickups in it which sound better. I don't play this bass much anymore. I should bust it out more often. The only problem now is that the bolt that holds the strap on is stripped and it just slides out. I played this bass at one of the VFW Hall shows in the RG and during the first song, I jumped and when I landed, the whole bass almost fell off of me. So I dropped to my knee and finished the song. I was motioning for either Eric Swanson, Phil Henkle or Jason Johnson to fix my strap and no one seemed to notice. They thought I was being silly playing on my knee.
