Preimum is much cloudier. The Preimum has a sweet smell, like a homebrew that has been carbonated with sugar. The taste of the Preimum is quite tolerable, has a sweetness much like the bouquet. The HG is as I remembered it -- an almost spicy, pepper-like funkiness. The HG smells that way as well -- like a dirty shoe or something; not good. Upon repeated sniffings, the Preimum doesn't smell as sweet anymore -- its color, smell and taste are all extremely unique, unlike any other beer or malt I've ever experienced. |
