Steel Reserve 211

Silver vs. Black

at first i assumed, possible only because of the black label, that the black 211 should at least be, darker in color. it would appear, and double J agrees, that the silver actually seems darker we marked the glasses so as not to confuse them, but im second guessing myself now. these are very similar at the very least. it is very difficult to smell a difference between the 2. if anything, the silver has a 40-malt smell, the black has much less of that kind of smell, and even it seems no smell at all i would think the black, with its 'triple malt' claim to be havier, but i would say the silver as a darker color, stronger smell and more pungent taste while the black si smoother. the silver tastes like a malt 40, but black tastes like a more premium imported taste although i would directly compare it to none
